McGivern’s expertise is in specialised insurance brokerage for the commercial and private sectors. WorkGroup worked with them to update their brand positioning, naming and visual identity. Our influences started with their own beginnings in the early 1980s, taking colour and type design cues from banknote design of that era. We brought these somewhat historic elements together in a wholly contemporary treatment, reflective of the business’s current standing and future plans. I focused on application of the brand to a breadth of outputs, for both print and screen.
