Graphic Design is (not) Dead
A tabloid newspaper created during my third year in IADT. The content is made up of an essay I wrote in response to the statement “Graphic Design is Dead” and an essay by Ellen Lupton on the future of graphic design. All imagery in the tabloid is my own primary response to the content I generated. As the tabloid progresses, the paint blobs mix with eachother, representing the integration of graphic design with other disciplines, like authoring and teaching. The tabloid format serves to support my strong disagreement with the statement and to publicise the news that graphic design is not dead, far from it! It is only proliferating and extending it’s arm in the world today.
